TUBE, a label that was created by Paula Pontes.

During her study in fashion and design at the Academy of Art in Holland, Paula Pontes decided to take issue with what she described as the 'polluting aspects of the fashion industry'. Why not reuse at least some of the bewildering variety of materials that the industry considered to have become waste? With this in mind, Paula Pontes decided to focus her work on what she labeled as 'urban waste'.
Inner tires, billboard vinyl, sports grass, and more materials came to be used for the creation of a truly unique collection of bags. The consequence of this ideology is that each bag got the following qualities:

Unica’s
Artistic
Trendy
Durable
Recycled
Handmade in Holland

Galleries, museums, and special shops. adopted her work in their collection. Paula Pontes also designs on special demands from customers.

In 2002 we had so much white vinyl that we invited graffiti artists to put their work on our bags.
